A photo of Alejandro Fuenmayor and his wonderful cat, Butters.

Hi there!

My name is Alejandro Fuenmayor, but depending on the region of the country you may know me as Al, Ale or Handro.

In my professional life I am an advertising media executive who blends advanced analytics, lots of math, state-of-the-art ad-tech and the scientific method to drive business outcomes for my clients.

However, my first passion has always been storytelling. Since I was a kid, I was fascinated by the stories of Alexandre Dumas, Jules Verne, Charles Dickens, J. R. R. Tolkien and Akira Toriyama (I wasn’t exclusively a snobby kid; Dragon Ball is up there with the Count of Montecristo for me).

I’ve always made time to enjoy and tell stories. Whether through tabletop roleplaying, a hobby that I have been enjoying since I first came to the United States in high school, to writing short stories and making independent movies. However, my career and life obligations never allowed me to dedicate enough time to any of these to transcend them from mere hobbies.

Then everything changed when generative A.I. came about.

At first, I admit that the workaholic in me used it exclusively to optimize my work-related efficiency, and that was really cool. I found myself saving tens of hours a month by automating some tasks and enhancing my workflow. I found a force-multiplier in LLMs that allowed me to generate more high-quality output in less time.

And then I realized that I could use these newly liberated hours for things other than work. That is when Primal Telemetry was born.

This is my attempt at allowing myself a creative outlet. The projects I post here are purely done for passion and the love of storytelling. If you have made it this far, I hope that you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them!

And in case you were wondering, that is my amazing writing buddy, cuddle partner and life coach, my cat, Butters.
